Timeless Dhamma shares Dhamma teachings freely. This notice explains what information is involved when you visit this website, and how our own channel-management tools use Google and Facebook services.
This website
You do not need an account to use this website, and we do not ask you for any personal information. There are no forms, no advertising and no tracking or analytics cookies.
To understand which teachings are useful, we count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not identify or follow individual visitors, and only produces anonymous totals such as page views, country and device type.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and teaching videos are shown using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player. When a page loads, these services receive your IP address and browser details, as any website does, under their own privacy policies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
Our channel-management tools
We run our own small tools that use the YouTube Data API and the Facebook Graph API to manage our own YouTube channels and Facebook Page: for example updating video titles and descriptions, scheduling publishing times and organising playlists.
- These tools are used only by the channel owner, and only for the owner's own accounts.
- They do not collect, store or process information about viewers or any other Google or Facebook users.
- The sign-in permissions are stored only on the owner's own computer and are never shared, sold or transferred to anyone.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google account's security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
