About This Teaching

Ajahn Dtun describes how noble disciples who have reached one of the four levels of enlightenment deal with attraction to another person's body, when they wish to deepen their practice toward a higher attainment.

They try to see right through the person in front of them by superimposing an image of that same person in old age and finally as a corpse. The aim, he explains, is to see the impermanent and selfless nature of the body.
