About This Answer
The scriptures tell of people who attained full enlightenment without passing through the three earlier stages. Is this still possible today? In his own view, Ajahn Dtun says, it is 99.99 percent impossible, leaving 0.01 percent for the possibility. People of this era do not have sufficient spiritual development and maturity to realise the Dhamma so quickly and so deeply.
