About This Answer
Asked what enlightenment is, Ajahn Dtun explains it first at a basic level: it is the mind changing wrong view into right view. If we do things against moral principles, such as harming the lives of others or stealing, and come to see that these are harmful and not good, then with that clear understanding we give them up and no longer do what is wrong.
At the highest level, he says, enlightenment means realising the path, the fruit and Nibbāna.
