About This Teaching
When the villagers believed the crows were protected by a powerful guardian spirit, Ajahn Sao saw them as companions in **birth, aging, sickness, and death**. By feeding the crows and teaching the villagers through his actions, he replaced their fear with **faith in the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha**.
